Based in our 4000 square foot facility, Psiber is an employee owned entity committed to the development, manufacture and marketing of electronic test instruments for the rapidly expanding data communications market, including the CATV broadband arena.

Psiber was founded in 1994 and began with a simple philosophy of building low cost test equipment that possessed meaningful and unique features in handheld testers for everyday maintenance. Psiber has always strived to do what others have not and to serve customers overlooked by the big corporate competitors

The first tester developed by Psiber Data was the PsiberNET data clamp in 1994. This tester created an entirely new class of computer Local Area Network (LAN) diagnostic tools. The PsiberNET data clamp is the only non-intrusive test instrument that can acquire and display LAN traffic information without a direct electrical connection to the network. This innovative new product was recognized by Data Communications Magazine as the "Hot Product of the Year" in physical layer testing.

From PsiberNET data clamp, Psiber Data Systems has continued to introduce innovative, unique testers to the market. Psiber was first to market a series of link testers, the LanMaster line, including the latest LanMaster 26 VoiP/PoE and Gigabit version. Psiber was also first to market a cost effective Pinging product, the Pinger and its successor, the Pinger Plus+. And Psiber recently capped its LAN product innovation by putting a new twist into an old tester. Psiber added Port ID link light activation to a tone generator and created the Network Tone and Probe kit, a totally new way to identify a user switch port connection.

Psiber Data Systems also makes test equipment for the CATV industry. With the convergence of high-speed CATV networks, the entry to the market was natural. Today, a network of CATV dedicated manufacturers representatives market the CT50 CableTool TDR and CT200 CableTracker cable locator along with the Pinger Plus+.
